The West Coast District is hosting seven weekend Championship Mingles* tournaments this season (2025-2026). Each tournament is a one-day event, on either a Saturday or a Sunday. All players residing in the West Coast District are invited to play any or more of these tournaments, and players from anywhere are invited to play the two Open tournaments (February, April). You do not need to come with a partner. Players of all skill levels are welcome. These tournaments are designed to give players of all levels a chance to take a winner’s spot.
Each tournament Includes three rounds of play. The morning Round One consists of three 8-frame Mingles games (random draw for court, color and end each game), played as singles. The top half of the players after Round One advance to the Upper Division in Round Two; the bottom half advance to the Lower Division in Round Two. Each Division then competes separately for the rest of the tournament, and each has a separate cash prize pool – giving everyone a chance to win. Round Two consists of three 16-frame Mingles games, played as doubles (new partner each game). Only the top four players in each Division at the end of Round Two advance to the Playoffs. The players that advance are in the money. The Playoffs consist of two games for each Division, played as singles, 12 frames in 6/6 format. First game is the Semi-Finals; second game is the Finals; , random draw for opponents; playing for first through fourth in each Division.

*Note: "Mingles" is a type of tournament format. Each player draws a chip each game that assigns their court and color, resulting in a new opponent each game, and new partner each game in the case of doubles play.
